European Money Quiz – 2020
The European Money Quiz was first organised in 2018, at the initiative of the European Banking Federation and its members – national bank associations. The competition was conducted throughout Europe with the aim of increasing financial literacy of 13 to 15-year-old. The quiz has attracted thousands of children from around 30 countries.
The competition takes place in two phases:
1. The first phase is the national competitions in each competing country in where pupils will as representatives of their schools compete in the quiz by playing online.
2. The two best ranked pupils who win the national competition will be invited to the European Finals of the European Money Quiz that will be held in Brussels on the 28 and 29 of April 2020.
Two students and their teacher or parent from the winning school in Iceland will travel to Brussels for the European Finals.
The Icelandic winner in 2020 is Myllubakkaskóli.
